Maine’s rugged granite coastlines lined with historic lighthouses and lobster fishing towns all evoke an image of classic New England.  Acadia National Park is one of nations most scenic and Boothbay Harbor is a great town to explore. Portland’s Old Port District and offshore islands of Casco Bay are a delight. Augusta holds the state capital and many historic buildings. Bangor has a wealth of good museums.
