The Bay State

Massachusetts is a fantastic state for seashores with 1500 miles of scenic coastline. Mountain lovers enjoy the wonderful fall foliage drives and skiing in the Berkshires. Historical sites abound retracing our colonial past and the Revolutionary War. Boston is a great city to discover our nations founding history and contains national icons such as Fenway Park, Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market, the New England Aquarium and the Freedom Trail. Plymouth houses the famous Plymouth Rock where traditionally the pilgrams landed, the Mayfower II replica and America’s oldest museum. Nantucket and Martha’s Vinyard are two picturesque islands to explore off the southern coast. Nantucket is the former whaling center with 17th century architecture and a beautiful harbor. Martha’s Vineyard has sea captains houses, great beaches and cliffs and scenic Edgartown. Cape Cod is a giant curved peninsula filled with quaint villages depicting their seafaring past. Springfield contains the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, Dr Seuss museum, Springfield Armory and Forest Park Zoo.
